Can the secondary card holder on a credit card account, to sue the card company to assume all the debt?
My mother is the principal card holder on a credit card account. I am a holder of an additional card. Can I sue the company issuing cards take all the debt, since most of it is mine?
There is no way for you to sue the credit card company to assume the debt. The contract they have with them would make you and your mom financially liable for the bill, assuming they are joint cardholders. If only is an authorized user then you can have a credit card with your name on it, but his mother is solely responsible for paying the debt. Either way, you you can open another credit card account in your name only and then transfer the balance to it. This would leave you alone responsible for the debt.
