Any advice and / or counseling for UK virigin cruise to the Caribbean for 2 weeks?
My friend lives in Sydney and my sister in Auckland and I'm in Liverpool. We intend to go on a cruise two weeks from a UK port in the Caribbean in August and September. We want a balcony cabin – This is classified as a cabin? Any tips or advice would be welcome as any of us ever had a holiday like this before. I the other two must fly to the UK and we can go out and get back in the United Kingdom rather than sit elsewhere to join a ship.
It is possible that you go earlier? The hurricane season in the Caribbean runs from June 1 to 30 November with most activity from August to October. This year was a relatively quiet but you never know what will be next year. You would be safe in the boat, but they would have to change their course and / or kept in port for several days if things get really bad.
