Should I go directly through a cruisline to get the best price or should I use a travel agent.?

I recently booked a 7 day cruise with Carnival Cruise for my honeymoon in October this year, will leave Galveston, Texas and travel to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, the total cost is about $ 1900. The room that was received at the rear of the ship with a large balcony. I put my deposit down, but now I'm hearing that I should have used a travel agent. Has anyone had any experience with both and any advice on what to do? I can still get my deposit, provided before August 5

Do not worry. Their plans sound great. I just went on a Carnival cruise to Alaska last summer. For a room with balcony, sounds as if you had a good price. You can call around and see if anyone can beat that price. Do not cancel the carnival before finding a better deal. Carnival may be willing price match as well, if you find a better deal. They also make a military discount, but in yours are military. Ask about other discounts. Also good to know Once they are in the lounge, fill the evaluation survey cards at the end of the cruise. This will put you on their list of repeat customers and send by mail, phone and e-mail with all sorts of future cruise deals not only with them, but other cruise lines as well. If you do not want to call you, then give them a cell # (the lawyers can not cell phone numbers) or leave it blank. You will still receive offers by mail and e-mail. Enjoy your honeymoon and congratulations!
