If someone jumps from cruise ship railing into the sea, what is the protocol?
Does anyone dive after them with that little floatation device red fluorescent color, such as lifeguards at Wet n Wild? Or do you scream .. "Man overboard" and then stops ,…& then drops a sleazy slow as all n good? Or what?
Maneuver is called a man overboard. The boat circles back, and a lifeboat is lowered to pick up the person. The crew did not jump ship to go after them! That would be dangerous for the crew member, jumping 40 feet or less, or the person went overboard trying to drown. It would be a long swim to get even a person. If the person who jumped on purpose (not fall or get pushed) would in trouble!
