RETRACTABLE belt is good for 5 months old dog?
I saw them everywhere, people say it's good, I bought and loved, so when like today's snowing and cold, I just went to my door and he can walk around and pee, but the coach's pet dogs intelligent, so that's not good at all, why ????????? any advice, please
He probably said that because when dogs are young must be taught to walk with you, not in front of you. The dog needs to know that you are the owner, not them. What my father does with our dog is going to take a brisk walk, without stop, no smell, nothing. Then, after going for a walk that will let him go on a ride where they can make their needs and "socialize" with other dogs. What you shows that is in charge and also tires you out so you will not be as strong. I guess if you take your dog for a walk that way, you would retract his belt to the "fun" on foot, but keep it in a given period on the road at a brisk pace. Thats just the way he would. Personally, I like when people have their dogs on retractable leash because I have fear of dogs randomly so a lot of owners will let the dog is going to people who do not know.
